WHO WE ARE

Peace of Prose Publishing, LLC and its imprint, Little Peaces, were founded in 2024 by Shirin Mirdamadi, a dynamic leader with a passion for driving change at the intersection of business, marketing, and social impact.

Mirdamadi earned her BA in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing in 2012 and achieved both her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Executive Leadership and her Master of Social Work (MSW) with a focus on Mental Health and Trauma from the University of Denver in June 2025. With 14 years of corporate marketing and sales experience in industry-leading software companies, she has honed her expertise in strategic growth and brand leadership. Now, as the founder of her own publishing company, she is dedicated to empowering authors, advocating for equity in publishing, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

WHY WE EXIST

The publishing industry has long been dominated by a small number of major publishing houses, making it difficult for emerging authors to break through. While traditional publishers often prioritize well-known authors, the rise of self-publishing has opened new doors, with nearly 4 million books published on Amazon each year. However, many authors quickly realize that publishing a book is only the first step.

Successfully bringing a book to market requires more than just writing—it involves professional editing, formatting for multiple platforms, securing bookstore distribution, marketing, media outreach, event planning, and review management. Without industry connections or guidance, many talented authors struggle to gain visibility beyond small online communities, making it difficult to build a readership or achieve commercial success.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Understanding these challenges, Mirdamadi founded Peace of Prose Publishing, an independent agency dedicated to helping authors navigate the complexities of publishing. Drawing from her background in public relations, marketing, and sales, she saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between traditional and self-publishing—offering a structured, hands-on approach that provides expert support while ensuring authors retain ownership and creative control. As a named hybrid publisher of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), Peace of Prose helps authors expand their reach beyond online platforms.

The company’s children’s book division, Little Peaces, publishes children's books that earn editorial praise and media attention. Little Peaces promotes content that aligns with our mission of highlighting unique perspectives, fostering meaningful dialogue, and challenging the status quo. Our services provide what is necessary to successfully bring your book to market, from editing to event planning.
